Provide the required details and submit the form online. You can also use the Voter Helpline App or visit the Electoral Search website to verify your name in the Electoral Roll or register online.

b. NRI Voters:

NRI voters need to fill out Form 6A for voter registration. Visit the National Voters' Service Portal, fill in the necessary information, and submit the form online to complete the registration process.

c. Deletion or Objection in Electoral Roll:

If you need to request the deletion of your name or raise an objection in the electoral roll, fill out Form 7 online.

d. Change in Voter Details:

For any changes in your voter details, such as name, photo, address, or EPIC number, fill out Form 8. Visit the National Voters' Service Portal, provide the required information, and submit the form online.

e. Shifting within the Same Constituency:

If you have shifted your residence within the same constituency, fill out Form 8A online. Visit the National Voters' Service Portal, enter the necessary details, and submit the form to update your voter information.

2. Voter Registration Status:

Before registering to vote, you can check your enrollment status by visiting the Electoral Search website. Enter the required details to verify if you are already registered. If not, proceed with the registration process.

3. Offline Voter Registration:

If you prefer the offline method for voter registration, follow these steps:

  1. Obtain two copies of Form 6 from the offices of Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, or Booth Level Officers.
  2. Fill out the form accurately.
  3. Submit the filled form in person to the concerned Electoral Registration Officer, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, or hand it over to the Booth Level Officer of your polling area.
  4. You can also send the application by post to the respective officer.
